We strive to keep all students healthy with nutritionally balanced meals at our breakfast and lunch programs and by keeping students active through their daily recess breaks and their physical education classes. We include education regarding the benefits of physical exercise and eating well in our science classes, as well.
We update our Wellness Policy at least once every three years and encourage parents and students to give us input and feedback on all of our policies at Delwood Elementary. If you would like to be a part of our District Advisory Committee to help in the development of our Wellness goals, please let us know. We're always looking for parents and students who want to become more involved with our school system!
Our students are highly involved in the implementation of our Wellness goals through their involvement in the Student Council. New Student Council members are chosen every year, so please encourage your son or daughter to run for Student Council and become involved in their school!

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html , and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
